Draw me a duck!

There are so many people posting videos on how to draw a dog or a duck or a well known character exactly like they do it. I much prefer to help youngsters have confidence in and develop their own innate drawing style and creative thinking. There will come a time when they will want to copy others work, (that's natural) but there is also a window of opportunity

when they are free to do their own thing and it's this stage that I am interested in encouraging with gentle, not too specific 'how to' instruction and interesting themes to stoke their imagination. These are tailored to last an hour or so for a lesson or after school club. below are just a few examples of some cartoon clubbers fantastic work.
